Eight months after the start of its conception, the semi-summersible OOS Serooskerke currently under construction is moving forward quickly, regarding the underneath footage and the structural steel work completed. Its manufacturer is the Dutch company OOS International, specialized in offshore accommodation solutions and ship management. As we speak, the blocks of the heavy lift crane vessel are undergoing internal outfitting and painting before being erected onto the unit. The end of the newbuild semi-summersible is scheduled for June 2018, « on time according to the construction and delivery plan » as the firm announced. The vessel should be fully completed in Q2 2019.
