Kuenz: Intermodal container cranes for Poland

The Polish company Centrum Logistyczno Inwestycyjne Poznań II Sp. z o.o. is going to extend its intermodal container terminal in Jasin, near Poznan.
For subject extension, Kuenz has been awarded for the delivery of three brand new single girder intermodal cranes. They will be able to stack one over four containers and be equipped with a piggyback spreader for 20 – 40 ft ISO container, trailer and swap body handling. The Rail Mounted Gantry cranes will have a lifting capacity of 40 tons under spreader, a rail span of 50,9 m with a hinged and fixed post cantilever of respectively 19,5 m and 17,0 m. Delivery and commissioning of the three fully electric driven intermodal cranes will take place in 2021.
