After being tested extensively last summer in the Bolloré Ports of Pointe Noire terminal (Congo), the Gaussin group reported the conclusions of the 38t APM. Operational Expenditure (cost of energy, maintenance, files and workforce) compared to an equivalent diesel model gives very positive results, in terms of both power consumption, maintenance, autonomy (9 hours per 60 kWh pack), battery life as well as available rate. The overall assessment of the testing team of Bolloré Ports, based on 14 standards (comfort, accessibility, …), resulted with a score of 4,58 out of 5.
In the same time, Gaussin will achieve with Bolloré Ports the co-development of the 75t APM HE from the end of 2018. This new model will be available for sale from the beginning of 2019.
