The tires manufacturer Continental developed two new sizes for its radial tire EM-Master E4/L4, 23.5R25 and 26.6R25, intended for intensive operations of the mining sector. They complete the range for wheel loaders and articulated trucks. Dedicated to construction, the ContiEarth/Génie Civil line is divided in four templates, in which EM-Master E4/L4 et E3/L3 are included. The E3/L3 has a normal tread depth and wide spacing between the blocks, making it « the best tire on soft ground », whereas the E4/L4 has less spacing, making it « suited for hard and stony ground », stated the manufacturer. From now on, the four tires are available in three sizes.
