Engie purchased Afric Power and Tieri

Engie recently acquired two African energy companies, Afric Power and Tieri. These firms are operating in Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger. Employing more than 140 people, they are specialized among other things in installation and maintenance of electrical systems. With these acquisitions, the Regional Manager of Engie West and Central Africa Philippe Miquel demonstrated his enthusiasm with regard to the two companies, having « both made their mark in the region and built up a diverse customer portfolio by focusing on quality, proximity and innovation ».
